The first term of MEMaGH will be designed to provide students with the fundamental knowledge and technical skills employed in the economics and management of global health.
Internships will be performed in pharmaceutical / medical device companies, national and regional health authorities, hospitals, health insurance organizations, NGOs, supranational organizations, research centers in Italy or abroad – all representing potential employment destinations opportunities.
During the Master’s Program, students are required to attend lessons and to carry out a scientific investigation under the supervision of a faculty member. The final work must result in a dissertation that will represent an essential component of the course program.
The assessment of ongoing learning will be carried out using the following criteria:
- At the end of each module there will be one examination per course. In order to obtain the Master’s degree, 10 out of 12 examinations must be passed. Examinations for each module may not be taken more than once.
- The quality of the project work carried out by students under the supervision of a MEMaGH lecturer will also contribute to the final assessment.
The final examination will consist of a project work, the final written report of which will be assessed by a special evaluation committee.
At the end of the Master’s course, participants who have carried out all the activities and fulfilled all the obligations, after passing the final examination, will be awarded the Master’s Degree in “Economics and Management of Global Health (MEMaGH)”.
